Basically there is no brush on or spray on paint that is capable of withstanding the temperatures and abuse of a stovetop burner.

A powder coating type "paint" that is fired in an oven might work.

Ceramic paint unless it is fired is no better than any other paint for withstanding heat.

NO!!!! DO NOT DO THIS!!!! IT COULD BE TOXIC!!!!

You need to buy the special paint they make for heated surfaces, like you would use on a radiator. As as the paint store.
