I would get it. It's also going to be $50 cheaper than the 60GB was and has a better screen.

i would sggest that you just wait, it looks like the new players are just intermediary playersm, which suggests that i about 1 or 2 yoers, they will probably come out with a whole new one. But, of course, i dont like ipods, so i would reccomend buying neither. But if you cannot buy a different mp3 player or you have not filled yours all the way up, i would suggest wait fo a brand new one

Youre always be waiting because after a new mp3 player comes out, most likely another one is in development. I bought the 20GB Ipod with the videoscreen but its already going out. But thats how it goes, i'll just get a newer one in a few years.

Apple always releases a new product around this time of the year. It will be in short supply for the Holidays so buy it now if you want it. There will be something new a year from now.

do you really need 80g ? if you want an ipod get it!!! why keep waiting for something new, there will all ways be something better coming out !! and you'll never get anything, I have the 60g and I will never ever fill it, its amazing how much stuff you and download to it !!

Do you need one now? You can always wait and other versions of media devices will come out. If you can use it today, why not just get it. I got the 30gb and it's been great.

or you can get a creative zen vision m thats soo much better than an ipod more features and sound quality is better and has a beetter screen,

see thats the probably with technology. you wait for the next model, you get it and then two weeks later its outdates. personally carpe diem. get it now.
