Any one have any good ideas for a 10-year-old boy? Every year, my son is in the Halloween parade in our town and has only won once, and that was 2nd prize. His arch enemy always gets 1st, and it's killing him. I want him to win so badly. So, if anyone can help with some ideas, I'd be very greatful.
Thanks.

I'm just joking around. He's not stressing or anything like that by any means. It's all in fun. And it's not really and "arch enemy", I was just trying to be funny. I just want some ideas. My son is a happy, well-adjusted kid.

I like Justsyd's answers (lol, jellybean bag), but I also want to answer.
First off, what does his "arch enemy" dress as to get first place? And is his costume store-bought, or homemade? Maybe that will also affect if you win or not. And also, be something that you boy will enjoy being for halloween. Don't make him dress as a teletubbie and hate it. Also, winning isn't everything, so just have fun! Maybe if you think less about winning, you might actually win? Hey, it's worth a shot.

My son always decided what he wanted to be and I would make the costume. He has been The Incredible Hulk,A pirate ( very appropriate right now ), a ninja, Freddy Kruger ( he made his own glove-o-knives and did a great job ), a firefighter, the Grim Reaper, a scarecrow and a zombie. The pirate costume was the most fun to make and he won prizes for it.

Get your kid some therapy now. No ten year old should have stress over a costume parade, have an arch-enemy, or have anything that is 'killing him.' He's 10.

Be the Pillsberry Dough Boy
a lolly pop
a box of popcorn and then one of his friends could be coke
He could be Noah and if you have a sunroof in your car, then paint cardboard and put it on your car and make it look like an arc and he could sit on the edge of the sunroof and wave as you drive along in the parade that would be perfect!!!
or he could be a quarter
sponge bob
anything with food is in
do something thats never been done before

The tinman from the wizard of oz, a cowboy on a horse - his legs are the horses and you put old trousers over the outside of the box as the cowboy. Simple but effective.

Wait a minute there.......why are you encouraging your son to have arch enemies? And then fueling the competition between him and this kid? Sounds kinda sick if you ask me. Tell him that there are more important things in life.
