drench your floor in baby powder corners and all. and let it sit for a couple of days, it will smother the fleas and eventually kill them later, then vacuum up and throw bag or empty canister into dumpster or take it outside. I had to do this in my daughters nursery, it was so bad she was covered in over 100 bites a nite as a baby, it was messy but it did work and no more fleas

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER> Go to any grocery store, go to the laundry soap section, find a box of 20 Mule Team Borax laundry soap. Buy a box (one lb for each 1,000 sq feet of carpet)
LIGHTLY sprinkle the borax over your carpet (you should not even be able to see it when you are done) and there is no need to vacuum it up. The part I like is it will cause ANY fleas in your to die a horrible death. The will be dehydrated, dry-up and you won't even know they were ever there. This treatment will also last for 6 months or more!
This is very cheap (less than one bug bomb) very safe and 100% effective. Go get some Borax and give me best answer tomorrow when your fleas are gone!

I have no idea as to how to get rid of them without poison. My experinces with fleas are to call an exterminator or try seven dust. It can be bought at home and garden stores, Wal-Mart, Lowe's, ect. Take an old pantyhose, snip it off at the ankle, fill with seven dust, and shake all over carpets, furniture, in corners and so on. Leave for 24 hours and thoroughly vacuum. Good luck, fleas are the worst. God Bless!!

Call the pet store. You might have to bomb. Ask about it's safety for you and your family. Fleas are the worst and they will continue to multiply. Bummer, sorry!
