Well, it was Newton's Laws of motion, not Norton.

His three laws were:
I. Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it. (aka inertia; a body at rest tends to stay at rest, a body in motion tends to stay in motion unless there is an external force)

II. The relationship between an object's mass m, its acceleration a, and the applied force F is F = ma. (the heavier something is, the more force you need to put to it to make it accelerate it at the same rate)

III. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

(This really should be in the Science section to get a prompt reply.)
