The Pope is absolutely right. There is a great war going on for control of the world. We either kill the terrorists or they destroy us.

The Pope is a religious politician, of course he is going to take a position against some other religion that is not aligned with his Catholic Church.

Is Hillary Clinton going to endorse George Bush?

Of course civilizations are clashing; the Anglo-Saxons and Muslims have been clashing for centuries.

Have you ever heard of the Crusades?

No I don't believe one should throw stones when they live in glass house's. Take a look at the Catholic Church's history. The Crusades were very bloody and violent. In Northern Ireland they are condoning the war between themselves and the Protestants. They supported the Santadetas (spelling) in El Salvador, these guys were pro communist and very violent. The Pope supported Hitler during WWII. Do I need to go on? Don't get me wrong all religions including a few of the so called "peace loving" ones have a history of violence and hatred. But again i say, don't throw rocks when you live in a glass house.
I also want to say I don't blame the Muslims either, I do blame the leaders of all religions for allowing these monstrosities in the name of their God or religion.

Being in such position, what Pope has said is absoultly wrong, cause its not Islam promoting terrorism.

Recently I came across some book stating that its USA that has trained Bin Laden.

There are muslims in India as well as in Pakistan, it dosent mean that both are promoting terrorism. India is fighting against terrorism and Pak is trying to stop Terrorism.

About LTTE they are not promoted by Islam .

Yes, I think he was right, however, I have the feeling that he was qouting some guy from 600 years ago to point out that the aim of Islamic leaders hasn't changed one bit in that time while the rest of the world has moved foreward.

Completely right. Lets not forget in 1996 Islamists planned to assainate the pope. Why cant they let us lead our own lives, instead of bully boying us into coverting to Tea Towel wearing Bomb making soap dodgers.

NO. Absolutely not. It is irresponsible for him to blame Islam, a religion of PEACE for freakish terrorist. Can I blame Jesus for the terrorist bombing abortion clinics or protesting outside gay funerals? NO!!!!

The POPE needs to deal with the kiddie rapist in the church and the uncontrollable births in VERY CATHOLIC South America and stay the hell out of world politics. The Catholics did enough damage in that arena (who does he blame for the inquisition?)
