i don't mind them talking behind my back but i don't want them in my life. thanks.

one more thing. if you have such nasty people at work where they could be a threat to your "existence" what do you do. you want to keep them at a distance but they'll just keep pushing just to be mean.

Just avoid them. They'll talk about you, your other co-workers, and your boss. They'll talk about anyone who comes into their range. Be pleasant but distant. You don't need to get too close to that negative energy!

Be completely above-board at work and that will speak for you. If you hear that a rumor is being spread and are concerned that it could affect your boss's opinion of you, go discuss it with your boss. Tell him/her that you are not tattling, you would just like them to know that there is a rumor and these are what the facts are. So, if the boss hears it, he can discount it and maybe even have a word with who is spreading it.

well ignore them and give them and if they keep doing it beat them up. Also at work try to ignore them or tell the boss that it is going on because it would suck to quit or get fired because of them. You might have to quit.

Tell your supervisor. If that doesn't work, tell your supervisor's supervisor.

If that doesn't work tell your lawyer you told your supervisor and the supervisor's supervisor. It is the only way you will stop the harassment. If you get fired, sue for damages.

Stop being a victim.
