Pregnant women are supposed to "glow". I am 8 months pregnant and have not yet gotten that glow... unless that glow means having raccoon looking black circles around my eyes from lack of sleep, pimples from increase in horomones and a stuffy nose so I am constantly struggling to breath...

If I were you, I would take offense to what he said, because he probably thought you looked pregnant.... sorry...

There's a guy I work with that claims to be able to tell "the glow" even before a woman knows (however he missed both my pregnancies and I was more than 2 months before he even knew!) Alot of people say pregnant women just have an extra shine about them. And yes, you have to be pregnant to have the glow. I don't know which way you want us to hope---you are and don't know it yet, or he's way wrong!

Basically, when people say that you are glowing during pregnancy, it is because usually during that time women tend to look healthier, be and feel happier and just overall their appearance is one of joy and excitement. Also, when you are pregnant, certain hormones are released that actually do make your skin brighter and more glowish. So with all these factors, someone came up with the term pregnancy glow and I guess it just kind of stuck. And yes, you have to be pregnant in order to have the glow everyone is talking about.

People just assume that women with shining eyes,.. a healthy glow to their face, and roseyish cheeks and have a generally happy look about them to be glowing..

its just a glow you have....your complexion is clear and shiny...my husband is always telling me I look beautiful and he says its cause of the "glow". It always makes me feel happy to hear it too....

dude, i've read all the questions you have asked so far, your tripping out because you think you might be prego.
Take a prego test, easy as that.

If you feel you have all of those symptoms, then you probably are prego. Good Luck!
