My battery is pretty much dead, and I need a new one. Where should I go to buy one? What place is the cheapest and how much do you think it will cost?

My car is a 2000 Ford Focus SE if that makes a difference.

Thanks!

For everyday driving, in your case a simple battery from autozone, or walmart wil do like a duralast or autolite battery with a CCA ( Cold Cranking Amps) of at least 300 cost about 30-40 bucks it's really all you need and plus usally comes with an extended warranty. Dont buy those really expensive batteries like Die Hard or Optima Batteries because the are pricey and your not driving a big V8 hope this helps!

Call a salvage yard. ALot of the cars they buy are newer cars so you can probably pickup a good used battery for 15-$20.00 And you can save quite a bit of money. Just be sure and let them know if you have a sidepost or top post batteryi

Advance Auto, AutoZone, Oreirlly's, Western Auto, Napa, Walmart ...

depending on the type of battery and warranty you get with it, anywhere from 27$ to 86$ + tax

Sears will definately give you more bang for the buck. Head there, let them know what you want they'll take care of the rest. Don't go for the cheapest brand, get something good, something that'll last!
