What was the name of the cartoon from the 60's with the "Professor" and his asssitant "Leonardo"?

When explaining a word the professor would say something like- that's "baa" for "baa" and "guh" for "guh" BAG

It's an old mini-cartoon from the 50s/60s Alvin and the Chipmunks show.

Unfortunately, I forgot the name of the guy with his assistant Leonardo but it's on the tip of my tongue.
