thats more easily done using an Ajax toolkit than anything else. Since these links are displaying on another person's site, do you use an iframe or just the javascript to display it? If you are using an iframe, its just a matter of adding the code to your page. If you are using javascript to create these on the client's page, it will take a lot more hacking and may not be possible.

If you are going to go with an Ajax toolkit, I recommend either Yahoo's or Dojo at http://www.dojotoolkit.org/

the coolest library is jquery. it's got every thing you could ever want to fade about!

and the js to do a simple fade comes down to 1 line of code.

How's that for great?
