Is it true that if you put a dallop of glue in the palm of your hand and light it, it won't burn you?

I heard a story about the trick and I'm wondering if it's true. I'm not just going to try it! So, i'm looking for some type of evidence that it works.

No. All fuel burns out.

I've also done the one where you put hairspray in your hand and light it. You can walk around holding fire in your palms, but it burns out and it'll burn the hell out of your hand.
