I was at school when it happened and we watched it on TV
But, even if I try to forget it there is always the media to remind me at least once a day about it. There is never going to be an escape from it.

I am European,I live in Greece. So, the time that the tragic event happened was about 5:00 pm.That day I came back from work and I felt asleep for about a half an hour. The time I was trying to sleep,my father got into my room and he was screaming about an airplane,a tower and he was saying something about war or something.I totally misunderstood what he told me:I thought that a turkish plane came into my country, went in Thessaloniki(where the white tower exists) and throw a bomb there. You know, turkish planes(of the turkish air force) get into my country (without permission of course) everyday (Of course EU does nothing about that to protect us and they know it).Anyway, that was a possible scenario but what had really happened I couldn't imagine. When I reached tv I couldn't believe my own eyes.
That was World Trade Center, not white tower and that was New York, not Thessaloniki and the bad guys were terrorists and not turkish. In the first seconds I said ok,we don't have a war but then I realised how many people were dying there and noone could do something about it.How awful and tragic!
And then the second plane came.Unbelievable!
I will always remember that day as something tragic.I will never forget how people can be really bad.I wish that we are not going to see things like this again.

I was in 8th grade, and I was at school the day it happened. I was in Math class, when my math teacher got a call to turn on the TV. She did, and we all saw the towers burning. I then went to my History class, and my teacher had documented how it happened on the board. We thought we were going to leave early, but we didn't. We didn't do much of anything though.

I have not any activity in simply by fact action picture. As for the day of, i grew to become into 15 and often happening found out whilst sitting in highschool chem type. The president of the college got here on the innercom and my first nevertheless, jokingly, grew to become into "Oh, the worldwide would desire to be comming to an end, Father Van Bueren never makes use of the innercom". Then he suggested "I dont want to alarm all and sundry..." and that i assumed to myself "OH MY GOD! the worldwide fairly IS comming to an end!" and commenced to panic purely slightly. the scholars have been invited to demonstrate screen television information to be sure what grew to become into happening, until eventually approximately 11am. At that component the administration desperate that it can be a good option to handle the day like a classic college day and save the scholars in the dark. that did not end so nicely...

I was in 9th grade, and I came in late to my Spanish II class and everyone ws crowded around the TV. I asked my friend what was going on and she told me a plane hit the WTC. A few minutes later, I saw the second plane hit. In the rest of my classes that day we watched the coverage of it. I will never forget it.

I was at my computer and heard right after the first plane hit. Then I was glued to the TV for what seemed like forever. Of course we will always remember, and don't forget, TV is forever, they will never let us forget, not if there is a nickle out there for them to make.

I will never forget that day, my roomate (I lived at bording school) woke me up because her mom had called to tell her that her that they were trying to reach her uncle who worked in the Pentagon. She cried until the skin on her cheeks was literally burned from all the salty tears. His car never left the parking lot and they never recovered his body. I have never experience grieving like hers.
