She was raised Southern Baptist.
But she doesn't follow Christianity today. She considers all "religions" and "cults" to be valid paths to God. Pretty, nuts.
She attends Trinity United Church of Christ when she does go to church. Which is one of those Seeker megachurches. "It is an Afrocentric church with a membership composed largely of upper middle class blacks."

Oprah is a proud member of Our Holy Mother of Beefeaters. However, she would never admit this in public for the outrage of other celebs it would cause. But, you will find Oprah, on any Sunday, scarfing down a nice hot plate of meat. Praise be to the shank portions!

I think Oprah practices her own special brand of "Whinfreyism". She chooses what is it that she is comfortable with believing, and to heck with the rest. Her statements relegate her to the beliefs the new age style rather than Christianity.

She probably belongs to the Church of Scientology, like the rest of the celebrities do.
