i even told them they could come as a walking tulip =P well i got a bumble bee costume, its not too out there, it has wings and antennas. and im wearing a yellow top and black leggings. Is this to crazy or am i just being creative?

I guess if you are a kid then it would be adorable. Announcing that you are having a themed party is much different than a costume party. Telling your guests what to wear is a bit presumptious.

You're being creative and having the ability to be humorous but still remain positive. If it was me and I was having a gardened themed party, I would also suggest people dressing as shovels, or other various gardening tools, not only plants or insects. Just an idea.

Seems a bit out there, but so are themed parties - And Fun! I say if it's within a theme, then Do It! Just Don't Bridget Jones it (pink bunny costume to a normal party).

Dang, that sounds fun! I have whacked out parties, too. I would totally serve some of those dog-doo shaped chocolates for dessert to go with the theme, and you've gotta have gummi worms in dirt (oreo crumbs), too!

well it really depends on how old you are. if you're under 10, then yeah, that's cute. But if you're 10 or older, your peers will think it's lame. Well I hope it goes okay!
