Richard Dreyfuss and Suzanne Somers - why don't they do a cameo in a movie together?

I love "American Grafitti" and the story of Curt chasing the "blond in the white t-bird" all night. Wouldn't it be funny if some movie had Richard Dreyfuss and Suzanne Somers in a cameo role - like the happy couple next door or just driving by in a white t-bird?

Has this been done already and I missed it?
