Is there anyone out there that could make an honest president?

I believe that in each and every Election we get what we deserve. God has a hand in all things including who runs this Country.
One needs only to study the history of Israel in the Bible to realize that God only provided the leadership the people were ready for.
When the people turned to God they were ruled by Righteousness. When they turned away from God they were ruled by Corruption.
I believe we had the Clinton Administration because that was what we deserved at that time. We were a complacent people, therefore we got complacent leadership.
But during Clintons rather public transgressions I believe much of America, the one that matters anyway. Began some serious self examination and decided to change our ways.
Therefore God provided leadership which reflected that repentant attitude.
Sadly, if I listen to the media too much, we seem to be returning to that dark place that brought us the Demoncratic Party.

Many things go into an honest president, some of it depends on who he has working with him, There have been presidents that started out poorly and made a big difference, and then the ones that have started out great and ended up doing a lousy job.
Honesty, we all hope for that, but things seem to go askew along the way, which causes dishonesty.
Their was President Carter, brilliant man, Nuclear physicists, great ambassador abroad, but he wasn't like by a lot of people, as I recall Nixon was a good statesman abroad, all of the presidents, in the past seemed to have lots of good selling points, but could not pull the whole job together, so I guess that is one good reason that they should surround themselves with good strong people.

There is, but the crooked people will "swift boat" him (or her) like they did John Kerry, or rig the voting machines, or both. This country is in a sad state. When my g/f's daughter is 18, we are out of here.

i believe we can have an honest president but there is so much coruption that someone would try and might suceed in bringing them down.

I would have to say 'no' honestly. Although - I am kinda interested in what Obama has to say. But, he is probably just another slimy politician.
