Can someone please explain the ending to me? because I was totally confused!!!

I did watch the movie.
I just didn't understand the last scene: where Irene is looking after Agustina...if Agustine is in touch with Irene, then why did she ask Raimunda to talk to her and ask her about stuff, blah blah?!!!

Superb movie, PC looks like Sophia Loren now, anyway. Her mum, thought to be a ghost for some way into the movie, continues where she left off before and (again) looks after someone who is dying, still managing to stay secret and this time to repay her guilt for acts against the woman's mother and her own husband.She discovered that they were having an affair and were asleep when she set fire to the hut they were in after having had sex. The area was very windy and fires burnt very quickly and uncontrollably. Also PC realised this was why her mum had gone away and left her... because of her guilt and the fact that PC's child was fathered by PC's father. Nuff said.xx

My friend Mike went to see this recently and really liked it... I think he was just showing off tho cos he thought Chitty chitty Bang bang was a documentary!
