Because they're safe. The real questions scare us; therefore, rather than contemplate on what reality we give thought to ideals. They are by far more safe. What a race of escapists we stupid-question-responders are!

People are silly. Plus I loathe my job & a few minutes here is preferable to the drudgery of my daily existence!
