Like Laguna Beach, Platinum Weddings, Daddy's Spoiled Little Girl or My Super Sweet 16? Does it drive anyone else crazy besides me? First off, the kids that the super-rich are raising are complete self-centered, wasteful, spoiled brats...they are manipulative and they lie to get their way and then their parents/friends reward them for it!!! Why would anyone want to instill those kind of morals into their offspring?
It seems to me that there are a lot of people that are way too rich, it's sickening. I am not against people living comfortably, having nice things, etc, but watch one of these shows and ACTUALLY see how much people have, when others have so little. 99% of them have done nothing to deserve it and they don't appreciate a damn thing! I have worked harder in one day than these people have worked in their entire lives! The rich are getting richer and the middle-class/poor are getting poorer...Revolution anyone?

I have watched several episodes of these shows and agree with what you said about these kids being so spoiled. If my son acted that way, I would take the gift back! I wouldn't care if it was on national television - you just don't act that way!
On the brighter side, I have been watching Gene Simmons: Family Jewels and love it! I saw a few episodes of his other show - something about making musicians out of British kids in a private school. While I thought he had a good sense of humor, I didn't really like him. So I went in to watch his new show with the thought of just wanting to see if he's really as disgusting as I thought from the first show and was pleasantly surprised!
His show is funny! His wife (I believe common law), son and daughter are all really level headed and they play off each other well. There isn't any violence and the only vulgarity would be implied sexual comments. The episode the other night, the parents left town for a couple of days and the Aunt came over to 'watch' the kids. The Aunt brought a friend to pierce the daughter's belly button and the daughter declined. She didn't have a temper tantrum or a foul mouth and after having her make up done, she politely said she didn't like it because it wasn't her. They have fun with their parents and always done with the utmost respect.
So if you want to watch some clean fun (complete opposite of the Osbournes), tune in to Family Jewels.

It's just discusting how much effort these people put into being "the best". I have to have the best invitations, food, musical group or whatever appear at their function. Then they get all upset when they can't have that particular BMW or Mercedes or when mommy grounds them for not doing well in school (from My Sweet 16). Why don't they just donate the money to the local food bank or something.
