Hey.
Well I finally told my parents I am pregant. I was actually planning on running away next weekend and doing everything on my own. But yesterday i was in my school library and i was checking out books about pregnancy and another girl asked me if i was pregnant, and i said yes. Then she asked me if i had joined a program called P.E.P (Pregnancy.Education.and parenting) She told me it was a program in school and they help you alot with the baby and the give you baby clothes, car seats, ect..they take you to pregnancy meetings and provide free daycare and transportation, its pretty cool. Well sice my sister was in PEP the woman knew me..she asked if my parents knew and i said nope..and we talked and she was like do you want meto call your mother and i said yes please, and she did. My mom started crying and she is mad at me..but that is expected..Im considering adoption with Gladney or maybe keeping. Im 18 weeks due in feb. But this is for the girls that are pregnant and scared

You are doing the right thing. After looking at your other questions, dump the boyfriend NOW. He is an idiot. So what if he is the father of the baby. He is an idiot. An emotional abuser...who eventually will be a physical one. Second, put the baby up for adoption. You are too young to take care of a baby. You are still one yourself. You will always be glad you did. They have something called an open adoption where the child is living with their new parents but you are a part of the baby's life. Look into that. The boyfriend needs to be dumped though. He is nothing but a user, abuser and a sperm donor. After you h ave the child....use birth control. ALWAYS. How do you know he didn't also give you a disease?????

of couse this is going to be scary exspecially if your still in school. i think your mom will accept everything and love you and your baby as soon as its born. dont worry or stress. if you think your not ready for a kid then adoption is the best but i think you should consider everything before you choose i konw you can do it and you be happy once your baby is here. plus if your a sigle parent you have so many benifits coming your way. you can go to college for free (some places anyway i did), you can live in nice low income apartments and pay liek 80 bucks and there are some many places that will help with baby stuff plus so much more. you wont have to do this by yourself. everyone is there for you.good luck

I'm glad to hear that you chose the responsible route, and that things are going to work out for you. Good luck with whatever you chose to do, and thank you for sharing with girls that might be in the same situation.
