SanDisk Sansa m250 MP3 Player
Under $150 if bought on line

It comes with a 2 GB storage by default but can be expanded using MicroSD Card. It has got all the features that you can expect from a portable player which includes video playbackSansa E250 supports video playback), FM, sound recording(FM recording is also possible),photo viewing, etc in addition to regular music playback. Sound quality is great. Bass reproduction is good enough but could have been better. The screen size is bigger than ipod Nano and bright and sharp. The menu interface is colourful and well designed which makes it easy to navigate. FM reception is good but the USB cable has to be left attached as it acts as an antenna.Sansa E250 is heavier than ipod nano and thicker. Build qualtiy is superb, thanks to the scratch resistant materials used for making Sansa E250. The buttons are responsive. The center button is a bit jiggly. There is a mechanical dial(not touch sensitive as in Nano) which makes navigation easier, it also acts as volume control. The dial glows blue when activated, which is a sure head turner. Battery life is superb which is more than 20 hours. Sansa E250 comes with a 1 year warranty.Sandisk support, but as far as what I have heard it is good.
A feature rich, affordable, portable media player, look no further Sandisk Sansa E250 is what you are looking for. ...

I think you should get the Zen Creative then. If you go to Best Buy or some place like that it'll be less than $250 and it's better than the iPod. If you want more info go to their website.
