There are people who are motivated by nothing but money. There are people for whom money is not a motivation at all. Most of us are in the middle somewhere.
I do lots of things that are not motivated by money. For instance, my answer for this question is free and worth every penny.

We all need money to live... so if the lure of what makes it able for us to have food/shelter/clothing... is a lure... then yeah... I agree!
Someone that doesn't want money would seem strange to me... at least a little to survive on.
I do not believe that all mankind has greed though.

Yes print your own and be happy! Its the control of Money/Power/Wealth that's important. If it grew as you suggest that might be interesting. but control of is the real issue like what Congress has!
