Eyebrow tweezing. I`ve seen quite a few straight men with heavily plucked eyebrows on US talk shows.

Just wondering if it`s common in America, and among which groups.

Yes, it has become acceptable for straight men to have their eyebrows tweezed or waxed... finally! It's something that should have always been acceptable to do. It's still just a "famous" male thing to do thought.

American Media has gotten squeaky clean. I work as a producer and yes, men, women, EVERYBODY on TV or in film must be extremely groomed, down to neck hair, arm hair, eyebrows, nose hair, ears, and the exact shape and color of beards.

If someone comes into a talk show who is "off the street" then we sit them down with people for an hour or two to make them as perfect as possible.

It's pretty sick really, but that's what we do.

Tweezing is not so much as popular as waxing. Yes Waxing. American men are taking better care of themselves these days and are buying and using more beauty products. So say goodbye to the uni-brow. (overgrown eyebrows that appear to be one large one)

ha ha My husband does it!

HE had a unibrow and I told him I wanted to pluck it, he finally let me and now he gets it waxed about once every 6 months...
( he likes it better, )

HE's a business man during the day and a GQ at night!

He is so sexy! Try it!

only among metrosexuals, i.e. pseudo-gays. most men in real life will NEVER get their eyebrows plucked. it's considered very unmanly. however those in the entertainment biz do it to look more perfect.
