ok,i know the basics of cross stiching,but i dont know how to sew! does anyone have tips?

Hi - hope this helps you out... Go to the nearest "Singer Sewing" Centre.. you can take classes, or buy a book, and learn properly. If you like "cross-stitching" - you'll love sewing, its much faster,has almost instant results,you can keep yourself in fashion for a fraction of the cost. You can make gifts, I could go on and on.. hand sewing is a different needle, I use a back stitch a lot like cross stitch. and it is usually not done on a hoop.
