why do people think nebraska has a chance against USC this saturday?

i mean seriously...the nebraska cornhuskers...are you kidding me?
with all the talent gone, we're still favored by 19 points!
look what the trojans did to arkansas. beat 'em by 36 when the spread was 8.5!

I definitely don’t think Nebraska has a chance against USC...I think USC will win because of Global warming and also they have the best player ever which is No. 8 Dwayne Jarrett!!!!

Nebraska will have a chance because USC lost a lot of players from last years team. Namely Bush, Leinart and the other running back they had. Plus some other players. Nebraska has improved a lot over the last few years. It takes time for a program to build up. Where as one team is headed up , the other is headed a step down. So it makes both teams somewhere in the middle . In other words both teams are good but not great as has been in the past.

Yeah ok so USC beat up on the Razorbacks, what an impressive thing to do they had 2 wins in the SEC last year. USC wins this weekend, no problem there unless the Huskers all of a sudden learned how to run the offense to perfection, and that is not happening. So USC by 17.

The only reason people are giving Nebraska any chance, in my opinion, is because USC lost so much in Reggie Bush and Matt Leinart and people don't believe they're as good as they were. They may not be as good, but they should have no problem with Nebraska.

If it is true that Nebraska is bringing 40,000 fans to LA like I heard, and assuming that those 40,000 are in the stadium, Nebraska might have a chance, but I don't believe USC would allocate that many tickets to Nebraska.

USC lost great players from last year. However, Nebraska's not that hot either. I would take USC, just because Pete Carroll is no slouch.

I'm not looking for ten points, I'm looking to trash talk. I am a Nebraskan and have been my entire life and I would predict a Nebraska win even if they were playing the Buckeyes.
