its
(x+c)(x+c)(x+c)
=(x^2+2xc+c^2)(x+c)
=(x^3+2x^2c + xc^2 + x^2c + 2xc^2 + c^3)
= x^3 + 3(x^2)c + 3x(c^2) + c^3

BTW, please pick this as best answer, because I am genuinely trying to help, and it'd be nice if you return the favor

ok, ^ means 'to the power of'

x ^ 2 means x * x

(x+c)^2 means (x+c)*(x+c)

and in a similar way x+c)^3 means: (x+c)*(x+c)*(x+c)

Because it is the WHOLE brackets to the power of three. Hence why it is in brackets in the first place.

If you want to expand it then you would have to times first (x+c) by (x+c) and then that answer again by (x+c).

It is easiest to do this by using a square box subdivided into four smaller squares. If you write x at the top of one column, and c at the top of the other, and also x to the left of the top row, and c to the left of the bottom row, and then fill in each of the four boxes by multiplying the two letters. For example, the top left should b x^2.

If you then add this all up, you will get x^2 + 2xc + c^2.

you should then do a similar thing again but instead of (x+c) at the top, you should write, x^2 + 2xc + c^2, of course using three columns!

A bit complicated, and I could really do with some paper! Hope you understand!

there might be a formula, but u can also do it this way:

(x+c)(x+c) = x^2 + 2xc + c^2

now multiply that again by (x+c):

(x^2 + 2xc + c^2) (x+c)

x^3 + 2x^2c + xc^2 + x^2c + 2xc^2 + c^3

combine like terms:

x^3 + 3x^2c + 3xc^2 + c^3

:)

Man, it's bin sooooo long since I thought about anything like this.
Strangely though still seeeems appealing!

Howz about:(?)
(x+c)(x+c)(x+c)

Anyhelp(?)

yeah well,

x now were is that "to the power"key?

^ oh there it is!

so

x^3 + c^3 + 4xc

now that's just a guess mind!

bye

all the space p****ng you off yet!?

narh I think it's wrong too!!!!!

Next guess is as follows

x^3+c^3+xc^2+cx^2

howz dat?

hmmm

First, (x+c)^2 using FOIL. Then multiply that by (x+c) using distributive.
(x+c)^2= x^2+2xc+c^2
NOw...
(x+c)(x^2 + 2xc +c^2)= x^3+3x^2c+3xc^2+c^3

You always do what is in parenthesis first.
