Very good question and for most women in these circumstances the answer would be YES; because it is and works by being an estrogenic(like estrogen) plant; Red clover is another and so is soy. If you may not take prescibed estrogen for flashes then you may NOT use estrogenic natural sources. Your body cannot tell where the estrogen comes from and neither can cancer.

Black Cohosh is a natural remedy so should not be dangerous. If you would like to prevent the risk of breast cancer there are other naturals on the market that prevent cancers by getting to the root cause through cellular activity. Nip it in the bud, thus preventing it spreading is the best solution I can offer. I take a range of products which deal with prevention and maintaining optimal health. Due to regulations I cannot advertise here, but will be pleased to let you know how to obtain them.
