Grease, the music is actually classified as showtunes. The genre is probably 50's pop.
Fast Times at Ridgemont High? Breakfast Club? 16 Candles? All of that is 80's pop.

Grease? That was a movie made in the 1970s but the story was about a high school in the 1950s. The movie was based on the famous Broadway-style musical of the same names. There are soundtracks to the movie (Olivia Newton John, John Travolta sing) and various stage versions too.

Look for the soundtracks to the movie. You might try iTunes. Then if you're looking for a particular song you can get a little sound bite of the song. Just to check I went to my iTunes and put Grease in the search. It came up with the sound track album for the movie. All the songs are listed individually. You can purchase the ones you want or the whole album.

one way is to go to the website of the film in question. if that does not work, there must be a discography of the soundtrack either through the music club online or maybe through the artist or label.
