Sounds like a fungus of some sort. Do you or did you wear acrylic nails? Unfortunately for most staining, there isn't much you can do to get it back to normal except let it grow out. Try leaving off any nail polish for a while. Rub a q-tip of alcohol over the nailbed thoroughly. Try to keep your nails clean and dry and let the sunlight hit them - it's the best natural bleach in the world.

My first thought is fungus and that would mean a trip to the doctor for some medication, some sort of anti-fungal pill... Second thought is if you wear fake nails, then for sure it is a fungus and you'll have to stop the fakes and let the fungus stuff grow out. A manicurist can help with that. ;p

Hi ive heard about yellow nails from dark coloured nail varnish, or jaundice but i havent heard of green. Do you cook alot of green curry or curry, as if this gets on you nails it does stain. if not it may be worth going to the doctors to see if there are other health problem are present.

Sounds like you might have a nail fungus. Go see a doctor and discuss your options.The sooner you go the better off you are because with some of the meds they have for the fungus you could end up doing damage to your liver ect. (side effects)

the best thing that i have found for discolored nails is crest whitening strips cut down to nail size wear overnight and discoloration will disappear.
