This doesn't mean your absolutely pregnant, but yes, you could be. I would suggest taking a pregnancy test to make sure. (It may be too early for some tests to register, so if it comes back negative also try in a couple weeks.).

The method of determining your most fertile day by how many days since your last period is called the rythm method. Its one method of finding out when you might be fertile, but not the most accurate. Even if your periods are regular, stressful situations can disrupt them (sometimes causing ovulation to skip or delay)--and not every woman ovultaes on the exact same day. A better way is to track your cervical fluid, cervical position, and waking temperature (the temperature when you first wake up, if you wake up at the same time every day--or most days--you can skip weekends or a day now and then and still chart this). All of these change during your monthly cycle and can show you very accurately when your most fertile day is. (You don't have to chart all three signs--but it's a good idea to at least use two of them). Remember, though, there's actally a range of time that you are fertile, not just that day--and sperm can survive for over a week (if I remember right--I think they need cervical fluid to survive that long). I looked on MyMonthlyCycle and they do have charts for tracking these that you can print out. I don't know if they also have information there on how to use them, since I can't get to some parts of the site without registering.

If they don't, this is the book I used to learn how to chart my cycle:

Taking Charge of Your Fertility: The Definitive Guide to Natural Birth Control, Pregnancy Achievement, and Reproductive Health by Toni Weschler

...and I just saw on Amazon that she also has a version for teens (which is cheaper and might be a little easier to read)

Cycle Savvy: The Smart Teen's Guide to the Mysteries of Her Body
by Toni Weschler

Another book I've heard is good is:
The Art of Natural Family Planning
by John F. Kippley, Sheila K. Kippley

You're library might have one of these if you don't want to buy it.

Of course, you need to be diligent if you use these methods--and the only fail-proof method is abstenance.

What to do? How about make an appt. at Planned Parenthood or with your family physician or ob/gyn AS SOON AS POSSIBLE and get on a safe and reliable method of birth control, such as the pill, the birth control patch, or better yet, Depo Provera injections.

Waiting, wondering, hoping, counting the days of your cycle, and looking at a Web site WILL NOT prevent unwanted pregnancies. Only you can prevent yourself from getting pregnant by correctly and consistently using birth control (or by abstaining from sex).

You should also consider using condoms with spermicide (monoxynol 9) to help prevent sexually transmitted diseases, such as herpes (for which there is no cure) and AIDs (deadly). Many STDs have no signs and cause no symptoms. Some cause painful sores & others cause cancer or a slow agonizing death. Some also cause infertility.

Please be careful and take care of yourself.

PS By the way, "Plan B" emergency contraceptives (the morning-after pill) MUST be taken within 72 hours after unprotected sex to prevent pregnancy. So it is WAY too late for the morning after pill. It wouldn't work at this point.

you should definitely chart your cycle for lots of reasons. Your sex drive goes into high gear during your most fertile days.

In order to get accurate readings of when you ovulate, you need to actively track your cycle; especially the first two weeks after your period. Many women don't ovulate the same time each month.

As far as your problem, you will have to wait and see if you get your period.

Well just cuz you had sex on your fertile day it doesnt mean that its an absolute sure thing that youre gonna get pregnant. And remember .. a website cannot be 100% accurate in determining your fertile days. Dont base the human body on what the internet says. It's just an estimate. Your cycle can be different one month from the next. Do you wanna be pregnant?

well...now you can buy the morning after pill over the counter. however...it's supposed to be within 72 hours or something. it's the 14th now so...i'd say you're screwed. (ha! no pun intended. sorry, that was in bad tasts.) um...you might not be though. are you sure the calendar is accurate? i'm sure you can stray from the average ovulation prediction based on when your period is. take a test in a week or two.

There is nothing u can do know. Too late for the 72 hour pill. You need to have protected sex if you don't want a baby. Now all you can do is wait and see. Best of Luck!!!

morning after pill if it is not too late.
If it is, then I dont know what to tell ya. It could go either way. I always thought we were most fertile right before our periods though.

Maybe you should have thought of this BEFORE you had sex! When people are to irresponsible and stupid to be safe then they shouldn't be having sex! Get a pregnancy test and find out, and don't be so stupid next time!
