its not easy. i smoked alot of weed for about 5 years and then i joined the army so i didnt have much of a choice when i came to quitting but it was still extremely difficult. i would say the best way is to distance yourself from the people you smoke with. you may think that they are good friends, but you will soon realize that the only thing that you have in common with most of them is the fact that you both smoke. i am only in contact with about 2 or 3 of my friends from that time. try to find new people and new things to do. start by not buying pot anymore and only smoking when other people offer it. dont torture yourself by trying to quit cold turkey.
here is a somewhat psychological analogy approach...when you smoke pot or do any other type of drug, you open doors in your mind. you walk through these doors to find euphoria and a positive self image, but the problem is that when you come down you close these behind you. you will never quit successfully if you dont find a way to open those doors without the drug. those feelings already exist in your mind, the weed only helps you find them. you need to challenge yourself to find them WITHOUT MARIJUANA, and without the negative effects that come with it like loss of short term memory and ambition.
how can you do this? it depends on you. what else makes you happy? do it. in addition you may experiment with meditation, and most definately exercise. at least 3 times a week. once you get past the agony of the first couple of times. running can give you a nice natural high.
i have also heard claims that chiropractic adjustments have been shown in some studies to be benificial in fighting addiction. that may be worth looking into, especially if you are experiencing any other types of problems with you body already
and finally, god. pray and ask the lord for help. it works.
good luck. dont give up on yourself

Personally I ate more healthy foods and drank plenty of water. Marijuana is not really that addictive I just put my mind to it and I quit.

As far as vitamins go I would recommend Omega 3 Fatty Acids

I don't know about the best way- but I can tell you the worst way. When I quit, I switched to straights- and it took me twenty-two years and a heart attack to quit those. So- if you don't already smoke cigarettes- don't start.

And By the way- I finally quit cigarettes with hypnosis.

You don't need another substance. You just need willpower and determination to not let a mental addiction control you. I recently quit cigarettes, weed, drinking, and coffee. I find myself with a TERRIBLE oral fixation but... that's what a boyfriend is for.

Make ur mind up. i mean make sure u know u want to stop. maybe think of all the negative things it brings to u and how u would do lots better without it. if u think about it... ur kind of paying money... to hurt urself. if u put ur mind to it and really really know u wanna stop... u will be able to... - let it be the last one! =D
good luck!

It's easy to quit. Do downers instead, it's cheaper and you won't need weed
