I'm trying to find out if certain countries use certain no's for their I.P no's.
I know if I right click on the incoming e-mail then go properties then details I can check the e-mail is coming from who it should be ( I learnt this from so much spoof ebay mails) Is it possible to tell which country it comes from depending on the first few no's??
I'm sure there must be a way of knowing this??
I'm geting mail and I'm sure it's been sent from a different locaion in the world than I'm being told!!
Thanks

View the full headers of the email message... Look for the "Received: from" tag towards the bottom. This will tell you the origin of the email. If it's an IP address, you can do an NSLOOKUP on the IP address & see who it is.

Link below to an online tool to do exactly what you ask.

Beware that IP addresses can be spoofed ( falsified ) very easily when using UNIX or Linux systems especially.
This includes Mac's as their OS is based on UNIX.

You could do a WHOIS search on the IP address, although that info is self-reported, so it could be deceptive. There's no correlation between geographic locations and IP addresses.

regardless of in case you probably did submit the e-mail handle, there is fairly no thanks to entice close for positive what u . s . a . it got here from. Many consumers have debts that are depending in a u . s . a . it really is not their personal. In my personal case, I easily have an American handle, yet i'm not American, and that i do not stay in my personal residence u . s . a .. hence my digital mail handle might want to allow you to recognize not something about my area.
