Well if it is a real passion fruit plant, then I suggest to just eat out of the skin with a spoon, they are delicious just as they are.

Origin: The purple passion fruit is native from southern Brazil through Paraguay to northern Argentina. It has been stated that the yellow form is of unknown origin, or perhaps native to the Amazon region of Brazil, or is a hybrid between P. edulis and P. ligularis. Cytological studies have not borne out the hybrid theory. In Australia the purple passion fruit was flourishing and partially naturalized in coastal areas of Queensland before 1900. In Hawaii, seeds of the purple passion fruit, brought from Australia, were first planted in 1880 and the vine came to be popular in home gardens.

seeds are not necessarily poisonous but have little value as a fruit. Plan has been developed to be ornimental, i.e. nice flowers followed by bright orange fruit pods. Enjoy the flowers and the colours forget the fruit

I too have a passion flower that is in fruit, the orange fruits have lovely reddish seeds in. I have wondered for a long time if they are edible, I have not managed to find out for definite if they are, some gardening books say yes others say no, so I dare not risk it. Don't really want to make myself ill.
