To answer this question properly I need to know what metal the bells are made from. If they are made from any type of non stainless steel you can mix up a strong salt water solution and spray them with it and leave them exposed to the elements outside. Spray them at least once a day and they should rust up very nicly in just a few days. If you need deep pitted rusting that will take a while longer depending on the metal. If they are made from other types of metal and you want them to show corrision you can use several different solutions to get the desired results. Copper gets a nice coating of color with the liberal application of urine (you may want to wear gloves for this one lol) There are also special acid based solutions to turn metal all sorts of colors. If you post the type of metal the bells are made from I will get you the right formula to corrode them. Good luck and I will check back tomorrow to see if you have posted. You can also just drop me a line and I will try and help you that way.

the only way i would know would be to use alot of salt. Basically, rust is the result of the metal's interaction with oxygen and other eroding agents. Salt is among those agents that erode and cause rust.

You might even try placing them in Coke or Pepsi (I'm not sure which one is more corrosive). This could also be an urban ledgend since I never actually tried it before.
