whats the best a.g.p card for vista beta,i have tried to install the vista drivers for a ge-force 4 mmx(xddm) but the drivers wont work with that card
there are plenty of cheap a.g.p cards,but which one will work with vista ,i only want it to play basic 3d games so something with shader + pixel model 2.0 will do as this is also the min requirements for windows vista aero
also does anyone know any other nvidia vista driver downloads apart from the ones on the nvidia site

go to nvidia website and down load the drivers you want. Warning its a labourous process.

Hold the phone! Nvidia isnt yet compatible to work on vista. Many comp gamers and i mean the real hard core pro gamers found nvidia failed several test with vista. Both nvidia and microsoft are working to fix the issues at last report in august. I recomend never get the latest operation system until a year after intial public release. This way most of the bugs and kinks are worked out.

I have done some of the beta testing for "Vista", first you will need a 128 mg minimum, depending on what your using it for, 3D is good, but if for gaming, a 256 or 512 is more of an asset.
But the move to PCI-E is being done for memory and speed issues, so that would make as high as speed of
AGP card you can afford to put in is best.

As long as its based on the nvidia 7900 GS...it should be fine....Its HDCP capable....meaning it'll display the upcoming HD movie/video game HiDef standard....but make sure it says so, just to be safe. It seems Vista partnered with Direct X 10 will bring HD gaming to PC's so, we should prepare for it.
