graffiti, breakdancing, dj'ing, and mc'ing are the four elements...i love hip-hop...real hip-hop though. not the annoying a** bling, bltches, and blunts crap. so far i've conquered dj'ing and am workin on breakin...

its all relative as to what you think they are.
to me, the 4 basic elements are:
1. Words
2. Flow (rhymes, rhythm)
3. Beats
4. A Message
But that's just me...
