Why is it that some peoples eyes change color every so often? What affects the color to do this?

It's a change in light. Also different colored make up and eyeshadow and enhance different collors in the eyes.
Hazel eyes tend to have this affect, depending on what color shadow I'm wearing, my eyes are yellow, green, or grey.

Mine do it sometimes when my emotions change. I think it's chemical.
Also eyes can appear to change color depending on the colors you wear. This is because blue will highlight blue shades in hazel eyes, same with greens and browns highlighting green or brown shades in hazel eyes. I only ever see that with hazel eyes tho.

I'm not sure why or how they change colour. They just do. I have blue eyes with grey under tones. If I wear blue, my eyes will reflect the colour from my shirt and appear more blue.
My eyes also change colour with my moods, or when I'm extremely tired.

Yeah, that's weird and I never knew why it happened. I have med brown/hazel eyes and when my eyes water, either from being in the sun or crying, they seem to change to more of a green. I, of course, can see my own eyes when this happens but many people have told me. I never knew why.

Mine change with my emotions or sometimes when I wear certain colors. Like when I wear red or green my eyes turn an intense green. Also when I'm mad they turn green. If I wear browns, tans, or greys they turn brown or hazel.

All in all several factors changes the colour of eyes,including taking alcohol,drugs or any stimulant.sometimes smokes,chemicals or effections.Mind you in Tanzania particullary in Shinyanga region ,People with colored eyes are brutally killed.On the ground that are witches.

I know, that's so cool when somebody's eye color chanes. Mines don't change color, sadly, they're brown all the time.

i dont know but mine change two colors blue and green. They change depenging on what i am wearing

Well mine change on two occasions. They're naturally greenish with sort of gold in them, but when I wear blue, they turn light blue, and when I cry they turn REALLY green! It's weird!
