my best guy friend is moving away to new hampsire [i live in jersey] so i probably will not be seeing much of him, maybe once a year at the very most.
and i just want some good ideas for a moving away gift. i already know i'm going to get me and him matching necklaces [as stupid as it sounds, i found some really "cool" ones the other day.]
but i'm not sure what else a good gift idea would be, i just want him to remember me. he's basically your typical teenage guy, so it should be no problem to find something special..

A watch is a nice gift. Guys love watches, and everytime he looks at it, he will remember you!

You could always give him a framed picture... with or without a picture in it... I mean if your not gonna see each other and your still in your teens than spending alot of money wouldnt really be worth it, but a frame with a picture is heartfelt and something you can give a guy, so he will have it around for a long time...
another good option is a nice T-shirt, one you know he will wear... thats what i usually give my guy friends as presents, not too expensive and a good gift.

How about a photo-album with pictures of you and her and other mutual friends, as well as places you know she liked? Or, you could do what I did for my boyfriend (now husband) when he moved to another state. For his birthday I took a video camera and visited as many of his friends as I could and had them all say something to him on film (I let them decide what to say...it all worked out better that way). I also filmed some of our favorite places and sent it to him. He loved it. You could do that and put it in the basket with instructions not to open it until she gets to her new home. If she likes to write, then some stamps and stationary would also make a good gift.

Sorry you're best friend is moving... I would get him (or make) a photo album with pictures of things we did together and of all the friends we shared. In it I would put information where no matter how many years past, he could find me. Good Luck!

You should give him a gift that says"I love you and will miss you, Friends 4 ever" so therefore a picture of the both of you will be nice...or some other souvenir that signifies friendship

Make him something with your own two hands. Maybe like a photo album with pictures of you two. Write little captions under the pictures. That would mean a lot more than something store bought.
