Depends on what your test considers "chemicals" ???
I had a quesiton once that asked, "Name a food that in no way depends on the Sun". Everyone that left the question blank got it right. A lot of people put down salt, but that was wrong... I don't remember why it was wrong but the correct answer was "Nothing".
Your question might have the answer of "There isn't any substance that is not made up of chemicals" to prove your point you may wish to list the definitions for "chemical" and "substance".

The only thing that isn't made of chemicals is really a non-thing and that would be a pure vacuum. Matter, by definition is that which has mass and occupies space. Energy could loosely be called a non-chemical substance, but this is a stretch.
BTW: Air is a mixture of chemicals: nitrogen, oxygen and other gases.
Water is a chemical. Its formal name is dihydrogen monoxide.

i could say, alongside with many others here, that human needs are the main useful, not costly, substance interior the worldwide. Freedom could be on my record if it have been tangible. the optimum reason I published here nevertheless grew to become into simply by "Diamonds?" which you wrote. Daimonds at the instant are not nicely worth as much as human beings pay for them interior the shops. they are heavily overpriced and are actually very user-friendly. The Diamond marketplace , although, is administered via a monopoly who dictates the cost and needs the final public to have faith they are uncommon so as to learn greater earnings line with stone. Compressed Carbon is user-friendly, however the DeBeire's says in any different case and with the capacity of a Diamond monopoly, their observe is assumed (the monopoly is a processes they at the instant can't function interior the U. S.).

The word, "substance" is a problem. All matter contains chemicals. Waves, like sound, electricity, light, do not.
Water is a chemical compound, H2O.
