Not as often as people will admit. There is always a story about someone who made millions or hundreds of thousands a year and came from just scratching out a living. How many people want that and never get it though ? There is less and less middle class and the gulf between the rich and poor ever widens each year.

Of course you can. Often it is a state of mind that keeps you lower than the next person. Whether you like being in that different social circle is another subject.
You can do anything, be anything. We hold ourselves back by our belief systems that we are lesser. Once you start achieving, be it in career, or volunteer groups - any form of engaging in the world can result in becoming befriended by any class of people.
Don't limit yourself. And don't just limit yourself to the upper or middle class either!

You can but it is very difficult to change the way of thinking. You can give alot of money and a good job to a person but that doesnt mean their ingrained tendancies automattically change too. Lower class focuses on Relationships, Middle on Connections, and Upper on Achievements/Status. Along with continuing education, there are alot of factors barring that move upward. It is possible but it isnt easy!

I think it is possible, but difficult. People tend to stay in the class that they are born. On Oprah the other day they said class is rated by teeth, and weight. Teeth because well off people can afford to fix their teeth while others cannot. Seems like it would be true to me.

yes, but it's difficult. you have to work harder than the middle class person in order to get into that class meaning you have to work harder for the same pay. but once you do achieve that have children your children were born into that class so they are accepted...see how it works? then they can bust assss to get further up the social ladder.

Yes it is possible. It takes focus, hard work and patience. Also if you really want respect you want to do it with integrity. Sometimes luck plays a role but don't depend on it.

It depends. Some would say you can make your way up to the top, but won't be accepted by the people who have been there.
