could be the transmission or just some air in the brakes. I would get your car checked out before you drive it anymore and something serious happens.

Mine will do this, but only when it's cold - I think it freezes. I've gotta remember to pump the brake several times before going anywhere in winter or I tend to not be able to stop for the first few mins of driving. :/ If it's not cold..I don't know.
