We all deserve death for our crimes against God, but God is merciful and we should thank him for it. As far as a person deserving death at the hands of men----I believe that mercy would be far better than execution. Death is final on this earthly plane---it cuts off any chance for the condemned to reform and see the light of God. God chooses when a person shall be saved---execution and murder interfere with God's plan for that person. I am a prison pastor, so I have a different point of view than you might because of mu close association with inmates..
