Sachin Tendulkar is definitely a better batsman than Brian Lara due to following reasons:
1) Most centuries in Tests and One Day Matches.
2) Utility Bowler as well.
3) More consistent as compared to Lara.
4) THough Lara has scored more test runs than Tendulkar
he has played more tests too as compared to Tendulkar.
5) Top run scorer in one day cricket.

sachin ramesh tendulkar because he plays his innings in a very cosistent manner and has a technique to bat and does not move his bat round any way!!! lara does it! he moves his bat in any direction to score and fails due to these reasons!!!sachin alsop has more records than lara.i love sachin batting on the pitch.do u know it seems as if cricket is made only for sachin and sachin!! the pitch rocks when he enters the stadium to bat just as the floor rocks when ricky martin comes in.yeah!!

sachin is best even sir don bradman has acknowledged his talent. as an opener he faces new ball which is being thrown by some of the fiercest fast bowlers in the world.also as an opener it is not a viable option to bat thorought the innings and play a match winning knock like any middle order batsmen like dhoni ,lara ,dravid etc. also he is consistent in both forms of the game.he is a nightmare for world champs australia and shane warne
