Please believe me, VINEGAR IS AMAZING, please read what it can do and I bet every time you come across the little sachets of vinegar you'll keep some, put them in a bag, Just in case of a bite or sting.

toothpaste. not kidding. relieves the itch like that. *snaps fingers* I'm even allergic to mosquito bites and i don't feel it after i put some on. and it keeps me from scratching so it doesn't swell to the size of a fist.

if it's a painful bite, then some bacitracin and a band-aid should do it.

If it is itchy, run it under cold water for a minute or until the itch goes away. This will reduce the swelling that actually makes a bug bite look like a bug bite. If you can aviod scratching it for the next few minutes, it will disappear without you noticing.

One of the quickest/easiest ways to deal with a stinging/itchy insect bite is to rub it with deodorant. Seriously. It will help almost immediately.

The insect bites sprays that you buy from a pharmacy, and if you ever get stung by a bee rub a clove of garlic it stinks but it works.

Chemist sell all the fancy creams that cost £s, believe me the best cure is good old malt vinegar the type you put on chips, then get some piriton tablets

A paste of baking soda or you can try meat tenderizer in liquid form. the meat tenderizer brakes down the protein that is the source of the irritation.
