One one end, I'm gonna get laid, but on the other end I could be paying for it for 18 years!

Apparently you dont want kids right now. Wait till tomorrow then go get laid. You wont be paying for it 18 years later :-)

I would think that you and your wife have been talking about getting pregnant for awhile, if she's calling you at work to let your know she's ovulating.

If you're having second thoughts you better speak up.

Children are a blessing. You are never prepared to be parent, it is definitely a job you learn on the fly, but there will never be any other job that will give you the same level of pleasure.

There is no better memory than recalling bouncing your child on your knee while you are bouncing your grandchild on your knee.

Are you and your wife trying to conceive ?
Its sounds like if you two are that you are now having some doubts about whether this is the appropriate time to do so or not ....if that is the case talk to your wife about it ....she might be feeling the same way...and if she does not share the same feelings as you about the situation then explain to her your views on why it might be better for the two of you if you wait a little while ....Kids cost alto ...take it from me ...I have three...and they can break the bank....but on the same note they are the joy of my life ....and them in the same breath they can make you want to commit murder on their behinds....because truthfully there are good and bad points to ALL situations. Its all about knowing what is the right timing to do things for you two as a unit .You feel me ?

With those feelings just stay late at work. If you and her talked about having childern before you got married and you implied that you wanted them. Then get your butt home and make good on your promise. LOL is better then no love at all. I have four grown children and I am bless for having them, and would do it all over again. You are not going to be young forever and children are nice to have around in your old age.

Well obviously your wife thinks that you're trying to have a child. So if you don't want another child than this note is more than double trouble for you. First because you have to tell your wife you aren't ready for kids. Then because you're definitely not getting laid. :)

Have you discussed having children with your wife? It doesn't sound like it otherwise, you wouldn't be worried about it whether it's good or bad. If you don't want children, you shouldn't go home because she'll be extremely pissed if you decide to use protection when she just said that she was ovulating.

I was married 23 years before being divorced. I have one son. Was it worth it? You bet because he's made it all worth-whiled. How did the line go in Gone With The Wind when the Madam told Rhett, 'The child is worth ten times the mother.'

It's pretty pathetic to me. Making a baby is not a schedule. It comes natural. It sounds like you guys are trying to hard. Have sex when you want to have sex and that's it. There is no thinking involved. I think that's a lame note and i would just put it in the trash and finish the rest of the day. Then go home and have sex ..that's if you want to.

For Pete's sake your wife is sitting at home all hot and bothered and your first thought is to ask a question on yahoo answers? Shut your computer down, run to your car, and go home and make a baby!

Ever hear the song by Kenny Chessney "There Goes My Life"? You should listen to it on the way home

I have 2 kids. My oldest I got pregnate at 17. I have never had that adult life that others do. I love my kids and would change nothing about them or their timing :)
