A UTI progresses quickly and dramatically. If you *think* you may have one but just aren't sure, wait a day or two. If you have one, you will definately know it. It is unmistakable misery.
...in which case, get to the doctor ASAP. You don't want to continue suffering with that. They'll run a urine test to be sure you have it and then prescribe an antibiotic to cure the infection as well as some pills you can take to alleviate the pain.

See a doctor. That is the only way to truly tell. Some people have burning, irritation and pain. Others don't. See the doctor anyway about the frequent urination, it can be a symptom of something else as well.

you will definately know..i've had two. burning when you pee and probably blood too with frequent urination...i dont know if thats enough to say you have a uti. get checked just to be sure.

hurts when you pee, kind of like burning, go often, and if you "let it pass" you will start to see some blood in your urine.
Frequent urination is also a sign of diabetes

Oh you will know.. you will be in unbelievable pain. I had one once and thought I was going to die.. I also had blood in my urine! You will know!!
