try taking calcium supplements at night - people think that only women need to take calcium but men need it too. My husband used to get cramps at night, took awhile to convince him to try calcium but he no longer gets leg cramps!

I agree with Rasputin. Sounds like a sodium or potassium deficiency. Try doing some research on www.webmd.com

Perhaps your body needs more Potassium, like found in bananas. Hope this helps
