Actually, it's just the opposite. They are grouping people by race to show that race will give no particular advantage. It is more of a proof against racism than a racist action.

It's just a way to bring up sagging ratings...Survivor is getting tired no matter how they put it out there by race, by gender, whatever....it is still people starving and eating rats on some dumb *** island playing some shitty *** games.....for a million dollars....which the government will take most of and for 15 minutes of fame...I'm black and I could care less...I'm not offended by the "seperation" of races....I'm so over racism.

The "suits" who run television are ridiculous jerks who think they are smart. I have never watched a reality show, including American Idol, and never intend to. TV should be for something that has a plot. Most reality shows are just jerks thinking they are smarter than somebody else, and who cares?
This is just another attempt to sucker the American public in.

Please. Races are put against each other everyday, they are just televising it. They are doing it for ratings, plain and simple. They are hoping that the different races will conflict either just within their "tribes" or against other "tribes". Fear Factor is foolish, yet people still watch that... television is nothing but foolishness.

The ratings were dropping, they wanted to do something to get the most publicity. Play the Race card...get on all the Networks.

Actually, in alot of areas, we are not beyond this kind of foolishness. I am interested in watching it. I think it will parallel life more than people think.

They are doing that to show just how well people work within their own "ethnic groups". In the middle of the season, they are going to put them all together to see just how well they do. It is also so they have to choose for skill and not color.

You and the other 10,000 people who have asked this question in the past week are missing the point.
The only group that is complaining is the BLACK group... not the white group, not the asian group, not the Hispanic group.. just the BLACK group.
Why?

Who cares? As long as the different groups are not treated differently, then it's not a literal or social crime.
