Run, grab your purse, go on a little shopping trip, and buy some clothes that YOU like. Your dad might not like the way people dress now a days, but he's got to let you grow up sometime! An idea: Try buying reasonable clothes, that you like, but that you think your dad might like too. If all else fails, buy the clothes that you like, and change into them when you get to school.

Ask one the mother of a friend to talk to him. Also buy some fashion magazines like Seventeen and show him what's in style. Tell him you will be teased and bullied if you wear these clothes. I'm assuming your mother is not available to help you. What about an aunt or some other female relative?

Find a way to get to a mall on your own and by yourself some girly clothes. I really hope u find some way to do that because I can imagine how embarrassing that could be. Or maybe you can find a style that you both agree on ( though it's you're life). Good luck sweetie.

Tell him no and get your own clothes. If he insist then get a sewing machine out, get all the clothes he wants you to wear, and edit them! Baggy clothes can be made smaller by sewing the helm inside.
The best way is still to talk to him, but if he's stuborn, then you have to rebel *in a nice, 'I still love you dad, but this is too much' way*

Are you sure you are in HS? If you act like a mature teenager, I am sure your dad will listen to reason. Show him the kinds of clothes you would like to wear. Tell him he can have the final say, as long as you get to pick out something more to your liking.

You should try to talk to him about it. Tell him you're not a child anymore and that you should be able to make some discions on your own. Everyone has to do it sooner or later...It really depends on how old you are.
Times have changed and its just hard for some parents to understand that AND to understand that there children aren't babies anymore. Try to explain that to him in a nice way.

Do you not have a mom in the picture? If not, is there not a female family member that might help you plead your case for you...if she can help, be prepared to compromise a little though - if your dad does, then you should too. Maybe a female neighbor or one of your girlfriend's moms?
Good luck hon.
